4-H Positive Youth Development

For over 100 years, 4-H has included young people from various backgrounds, empowering them to express themselves and create positive changes in their lives and communities. Through hands-on educational programs focusing on real-world skills, 4-H prepares youth to succeed. The youth development program of The University of Tennessee Extension is part of a network of over 100 public universities providing practical learning experiences for young people. Franklin County 4-H is committed to preparing the next generation for a changing world.

Franklin County 4-H provides dynamic, experiential inclusive growth opportunities for over 4,100 youth through partnerships with encouraging adults and peers while developing confidence, resiliency, and life skills to become meaningful contributors to society.
